Zelensky explained who can stop the Russian army.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, emphasized that European armies are currently insufficient to stop Russia in the event of a new invasion. Even if all major European countries unite with Ukraine, they will not be able to match the Russian army. Therefore, a significant number of allies are needed to stop Russia. Zelensky also stressed that Ukraine must increase its army, especially when the US may not participate in the conflict with the Russian Federation, as all European armies are currently weak compared to the Russian.
Previously, Vladimir Putin stated that Moscow is open to dialogue with the new US administration regarding the Ukrainian conflict. The goal should be long-term peace based on respect for the legitimate interests of all nations. Putin also congratulated the new US President Donald Trump on the beginning of his presidency.
Trump stated that he plans to meet with Putin and wants the war in Ukraine to end as soon as possible. The negotiation process is already underway, but there is no specific date for the meeting yet. Trump had previously promised that he could end the war in Ukraine in a day.
On January 20, Donald Trump began his inauguration speech by announcing the start of the 'Golden Age of America', but did not mention Ukraine. He also instructed his aides to arrange a call with Putin to discuss a future personal meeting aimed at ending the war in Ukraine.
