Volodymyr Necheporenko - 75. An artist with a unique voice and an interesting biography celebrates his anniversary.


Ukrainian actor of theater, cinema, and dubbing Volodymyr Necheporenko celebrates his 75th birthday today. He was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine and received orders of Prince Yaroslav the Wise and 'For Merits'. His voice is unparalleled, and he is often invited to concerts and programs. A review of the artist's creative path and the main events from his biography is suggested.
Childhood and youth
Volodymyr Necheporenko was born on November 14, 1949, in Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region. In childhood, he painted, while his brothers read. He learned to read thanks to his brothers, who gave him a choice - either learn to read himself or they would read out loud.
In his childhood years, Necheporenko enrolled in an evening school and started working at a mechanical plant. Later, he was invited to the theater after his reading at a factory holiday was heard. He entered the Theater Institute in Kyiv, although many places were available, he managed to enroll on his first attempt.
Beginning of the acting career
Necheporenko began his creative activity in 1972 at the Kyiv Theater for Young Spectators. In 1976, he was invited to work at the National Academic Drama Theater named after Ivan Franko.
Throughout his career, the actor has played many roles, including in performances 'Wild Angel', 'Konotop Witch', 'Farewell in June', 'Midsummer Night's Dream', and many others. He also did dubbing and voiceovers for films, having voiced actors in Ukrainian over 1200 times, including Jean-Paul Belmondo and Robert De Niro.
Teaching activities and film shooting
In addition to acting, Necheporenko also teaches at Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts. He enjoys teaching students and hopes they will study theater. Many talented actors have Necheporenko as their teacher, among them Honored Artist of Ukraine Viktor Semirazumenko and actor of theater and cinema Eduard Malakhov.
Recently, the actor worked on the image of ataman Sirko in the play 'Urus-Shaitan'. Necheporenko has also participated in film shooting, though his involvement in this area has been limited. He believes that actors have more freedom on stage, while shooting films requires greater responsibility.
Necheporenko also expressed his outrage at the Russian aggression against Ukraine. He feels anger and supports the Ukrainian military standing at the front lines.
Currently, the actor can be seen in various performances at the Ivan Franko Theater. It should be noted that recently Ukrainian singer Oksana Pekun also celebrated her birthday.
