Turkey to join the reconstruction of Ukraine: first tenders will appear in spring.


Ukraine has handed over several infrastructure projects to Turkey, which are planned to be implemented in 2025. The first tenders will take place in April-May. This was reported by Türkiye, referring to Hromadske.
Representatives of the Turkish Embassy in Ukraine and the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure discussed possible cooperation. The Ukrainian side reported that the planning for the reconstruction of Ukraine continues, and that tenders for several urgent projects will be held in April and May.
Among the priority tasks are the modernization of existing customs points on highways, construction and creation of a toll road system that will operate throughout the country.
In addition, the Ukrainian side provided Turkish representatives with information about other important projects, particularly in energy, social housing development, and water supply.
The cost of restoring Ukraine over the next decade is estimated at $524 billion.
Funding and road works
In 2025, the Ukrainian government allocated $7.37 billion for the most important tasks in housing construction, education, healthcare, social protection, energy, and others. However, the total funding deficit for reconstruction and recovery in 2025 is $9.96 billion.
Furthermore, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the procedure for using funds for the development and maintenance of roads. The government allocated 12.6 billion UAH for roads in 2025.
By the way, the Baikovets village council spent 6.7 million UAH on the capital repair of the street leading to the local Holy Trinity Church. The tender for the repair was won by the company Shlyakhovyk-T from Lviv. The contractor is to repair part of the road on Bohaty street by June 30, 2025.
