Intelligence agents explained why the Ryazan oil refinery was attacked for the second time in a week.

Units of the UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine have once again attacked the facilities of the 'Ryazan Oil Refinery Company', which supplies the Russian occupation army. Explosions and fires have occurred in the vicinity of these facilities. This was reported by the press service of the GUR MOU.
'The Ryazan Oil Refinery' is one of the largest such refineries in Russia. The enterprise produces diesel fuel and TS-1 jet fuel.
Recently, a command post (operational group of the Pacific Fleet) near the settlement of Koryenovo in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation was also attacked.
The size and extent of the damage are still being clarified.
'Combat operations against enemy command posts and significant objects that supply the army of the Russian aggressors will continue,' the intelligence service noted.
Recall that during the attack on the night of January 24 in Ryazan, at least three tanks caught fire. Additionally, the fire caused by drone strikes engulfed the workshop where the diesel fuel and aviation kerosene hydrocleaning unit is located. Local residents reported on social media that there were over 50 explosions.
Earlier, ISW analysts reported that the Kremlin is taking measures to protect defense facilities in border regions from attacks by Ukrainian drones. Plans are being made to strengthen air defense.
