Duda complained about the 'miserable' pension: how much in hryvnias the President of Poland will receive.

Polish President Andrzej Duda complains about the low pension after the end of his term. He expressed his disappointment on the air of the radio station 'Gość Radia ZET'. Duda claims that former presidents are paid too little.

Duda notes that he can continue to work and earn a living, but the size of the presidential pension in Poland does not meet the requirements of a former head of state, such as decent clothing, travel, and meetings with distinguished guests. Currently, Duda receives a salary of about 25 thousand zlotys per month.

When Duda leaves his post at the age of 53, he will receive a one-Time payment of three salaries, which amounts to 75 thousand zlotys. In addition, he will be granted a lifelong pension payment of over 11 thousand zlotys per month after taxation.

Duda will also have access to state security, a service car, and an office financed by the state budget, which costs 19 thousand zlotys per month.
