Second plane shooting in three weeks. Airlines suspend flights to Haiti.

The airport in Haiti has suspended regular flights due to a plane shooting
The international airport in the capital of Haiti, Port-au-Prince, has suspended regular flights after an Airbus A320neo plane of American airline Spirit Airlines was shot at during landing. This was reported by the BBC.
The liner, flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA), was redirected to Santiago airport in neighboring Dominican Republic, where it landed safely on Monday, November 11.
During inspection, they found 'damage consistent with gunshot damage,' the airline reported. The aircraft was retired from service.
In videos posted on social media, several bullet holes are visible on the interior skin near the doors where crew members sit during take-off and landing. As a result of the incident, one flight attendant sustained minor injuries, while no passengers were harmed.
This is the second plane shooting in the past three weeks that flew over the capital of Haiti - in October, shots were fired at a UN helicopter.
Spirit Airlines announced that it has suspended flights to Haiti. Two more American airlines - American Airlines and JetBlue - had previously done the same.
Notably, in Haiti, members of the 'Gran Grif' gang staged a mass shooting in the town of Pont-Sonde, killing at least 70 people, including children. This horrific attack shocked the country, which is already suffering from constant violence outbreaks.
Local authorities report that gang members set fire to dozens of houses and vehicles. This attack is considered one of the deadliest in Haiti in recent years.
It is worth mentioning that, according to the court's conclusion, the widow of former Haitian president Moïse - Martine Moïse and former Prime Minister Claude Joseph are involved in the murder of Jovenel Moïse.
On July 7, 2021, a group of unknown individuals shot President Jovenel Moïse at his residence. Moïse had 12 gunshot wounds on his body. They also shot at Moïse's wife, but she survived the attack.
