Defense Express explained why the Russian army took T-55 tanks from 'Mosfilm'.

Expert Valeriy Ryabykh noted that the removal of T-55 tanks from 'Mosfilm' indicates a decrease in available equipment for use on the front. The equipment at 'Mosfilm' is not ownerless, as it must be operational for filming. According to Ryabykh, T-55 tanks have already been used on the fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian war, indicating attempts by the Russians to increase the amount of mechanized equipment in their troops. Additionally, tanks from 'Mosfilm' may be used as spare parts for the repair of other tanks.
There is a possibility that the T-55 tanks from 'Mosfilm' will be used according to their primary purpose - for what they were created in the USSR. Thus, Russian maneuvers with the technical equipment of their troops are becoming increasingly limited.
In 2023, the Mosfilm film concern transferred tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and tractors to the Russian military. Mosfilm's CEO Karen Shakhnazarov met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and reported on the company's assistance in the occupation of Ukraine. It is noted that in 2022, Mosfilm made a significant profit, but this decreased in 2023.
In 2023, Russia spent a large sum of money on propaganda through 'non-commercial' organizations with the aim of shaping loyal public opinion and influencing the consciousness of servicemen.
