AFU advanced in the Sudzha area – ISW analysis.

According to the Institute for the Study of War, Ukrainian forces continue active actions in the Kursk region, making slight but steady advances near the city of Sudzha. This offensive is part of a broader Ukrainian operation in the region aimed at displacing Russian occupiers.
Geolocation data indicates successful advances of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in southern Ruskaya Konopelka and north of Martynivka. Additionally, there are reports of active hostilities east of Sudzha, particularly in the areas of Samoryadovo and Kozyrevka, where Ukrainian mobile groups are likely operating.
Russian military bloggers claim that Russian forces managed to regain control over the settlements of Spalny and Krupez, as well as repel a Ukrainian attack near Oleksandrivka. However, the situation in these areas remains uncertain and requires further clarification.
According to ISW's estimates, Ukraine currently controls between 900 and 1300 square kilometers of the Kursk region. This offensive is an important step in liberating Ukrainian lands and demonstrates the AFU's determination to continue the fight until complete victory.
