Preparation for the meeting of Zelensky and Trump
The teams of the presidents of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and the USA, Donald Trump, will start preparing for the leaders' meeting. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sibiga, at a joint press conference with the High Representative of the European Union, Josep Borrell.
Sibiga reported that the dialogue between Zelensky and Trump has already been established, indicating the presence of direct contact between the state leaders. He also noted that possible future meetings of the presidents were discussed, and the teams of both leaders agreed to start preparatory work to organize these contacts.
Recall that during a visit to the USA in September, Zelensky met with Trump when he was still a candidate for the presidency and presented him with Ukraine's views on achieving a just peace.
