The authorities of Kamianets-Podilskyi got involved in a scandal over the city's new logo.

New identity in Kamianets-Podilskyi
The authorities of the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi presented a new identity, but the local residents found it to be very similar to the logo of the Russian service 'Kinopoisk'. The new city symbols were presented at the city council and in a post by 'Vdalo Info Kamianets-Podilskyi', reports 'Glavcom'.
During the presentation, the city's resident card and a mobile app for paying for public transport rides were also introduced, which were designed in the new city symbols. In addition, the logo and design of the card sparked a wave of criticism among citizens.
Moreover, the design of the card itself disappointed some members of the community - it is considered to lack a visual connection to the city and to be vague in terms of style.
At present, the city authorities have not responded to residents' comments. It is worth noting that a similar situation occurred in the Russian city of Dzerzhinsky, where a mural depicting a soldier was changed due to residents' outrage. The proposed cost for this mural was significantly underestimated for approval and execution by the artist.
