Ukrainian Polar Researchers Show Photo of Rare Phenomenon in Antarctica.

Ukrainian scientists at the 'Akademik Vernadsky' station witnessed a rare natural phenomenon – a clear night sky in Antarctica, which allowed them to see the large Moon in all its glory. This phenomenon occurs very rarely due to the cloudy and precipitation-filled weather in this region.
Research at the station is conducted in five key directions, including hydrometeorological observations that help better understand the climatic processes of Antarctica. Scientists note that such clear nights are rare, especially due to global warming, which significantly affects the climate of the region. This is reflected in the station's research, which records anomalous temperature changes.
The polar researchers also observe cosmic and geophysical phenomena, using modern equipment to monitor the ionosphere and the Earth's magnetic field. This not only allows them to record rare events like a night with a full Moon but also to conduct important research for a deeper understanding of natural processes.
We remind you that this is not the first rare phenomenon, the observation of the southern polar lights has been recorded by Ukrainian polar researchers for the second Time this year.
In recent years, sea ice in Antarctica has been rapidly decreasing, causing global weather and climate changes.
Earlier, Ukrainian polar researchers recorded a record wind speed near the 'Akademik Vernadsky' station.
