Ukrainian athletes at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris continue to show incredible strength of spirit and desire for victory. On the ninth day of the competition, our team received six more awards: one gold, three silver, and two bronze. This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Winners of the day
- Gold: Yegor Dementiev (cycling)
- Silver: Denys Ostapchenko (swimming), Danylo Chufarov (swimming), Lyudmyla Danilina (athletics)
- Bronze: Olena Fedota-Isayeva (fencing), Maksym Nikolenko (table tennis)
- Athletics: Lyudmyla Danilina (running, 1500 m, class T20)
The Ukrainian team has 67 medals (16 gold, 23 silver, and 28 bronze) and ranks eighth in the medal standings. Our team continues to fight for better results and shows high preparation and skill.
The Paralympic Games in Paris continue until September 8.
