Ukrainians will be able to see the lunar eclipse: date and prohibitions on this day.

In March 2025, a rare astronomical event will take place - a total lunar eclipse. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth blocks the Sun and completely darkens the surface of the Moon. This causes the Moon to take on a reddish hue due to the scattering of light in the Earth's atmosphere. This phenomenon is known as a 'blood moon.'
The lunar eclipse will occur on March 14 at 5:57 AM Kyiv Time. The most interesting phase, when the Moon will be fully covered, will last from 08:26 to 09:31.
Ukraine and Europe will not have good visibility because the eclipse will take place at dawn. In East Asia, visibility will also be limited due to the rising Moon. However, thanks to online broadcasts from observatories, anyone interested will be able to observe the eclipse.
What not to do during a lunar eclipse
During a lunar eclipse, it is not recommended to:
- Start new projects or make important decisions due to the energetic instability, which may lead to mistakes and unsuccessful outcomes.
- Carry out large financial transactions, such as deposits, loans, or significant purchases, as this may have negative consequences in the future.
- Engage in disputes and conflicts due to heightened emotions, as any quarrels may have serious repercussions.
- Overexert yourself physically and emotionally, as this can negatively affect health and overall well-being.
- Attend mass events or be in large crowds due to the tense atmosphere, which may cause discomfort, anxiety, or even aggression.
- Practice rituals, divination, or magical rites, as the unstable energy of the eclipse may render the results unpredictable.
- Ignore your emotional state. It is worth taking a break, analyzing yourself, and seeking inner harmony.
It should be noted that from March 15 to 16, worsening weather conditions and a gradual drop in temperature are expected in Ukraine, reports Glavkom citing the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
