The Ministry of Social Policy refutes misinformation regarding the reform of the social support system for persons with disabilities.
According to the ministry, recently false information about the reform of the MSEC and changes in the social protection system has been spread on social networks.
"All citizens who have been assigned disability pensions will continue to receive the designated payments in full after the implementation of the reform. No reduction of lawfully assigned payments and guarantees is envisaged," the report emphasizes.
The main goal of the reform is to improve the social support system. In particular, it is planned to:
- strengthen support for citizens who have suffered injury or health damage
- accelerate the process of providing assistance
- reduce bureaucratic burden
- simplify procedures for receiving help
The new system should become more understandable and convenient for citizens both during treatment and during rehabilitation after illness or injury.
Recall that the government has approved a plan for the complete reform of the MSEC system.
