Ukraine attacked important enemy targets in Kursk region - General Staff.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck important enemy targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. As a result, several substations in the Kursk region were damaged. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
There is information about the operation of the enemy's air defense systems in the area and explosions in at least four substations. As a result, there are power outages in the Ponirovsky, Kursky, and Solntsevsky districts of the Kursk region.
The General Staff notes that the strikes were carried out by the forces of the Center for Special Operations "A" of the SBU together with other components of the Armed Forces.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states that the Russian industry, which is working on the war against Ukraine, is a legitimate target for the Ukrainian military.
These objects, in particular, ensure the functioning of the Russian railway, which is used to transport weapons and military equipment to support the occupying army.
Measures to undermine the enemy's military-economic potential will continue until the aggression against the Ukrainian people ceases.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine confirmed that a strategic bomber-missile carrier Tu-22M3 was damaged at the Russian airfield "Olenya".
Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate Andriy Yusov noted that the damage to such aircraft is of great importance, as it is difficult for the Russian defense-industrial complex to produce replacements.
On the night of July 28, drones attacked the Kursk region of Russia, leading to explosions and fires in several areas. One of the affected objects was an oil depot in the village of Polyova. Local residents reported powerful explosions and noise associated with the flight of drones.
