The Council of Europe expects around 6 million applications for the Loss Register from Ukrainians.

Ukrainians can submit applications for compensation through the 'Diia' app
The head of the Ukrainian delegation to PACE, Maria Mezenzeva-Fedorenko, reported that the Council of Europe expects up to 6 million applications for compensation for losses caused by Russian aggression.
Every Ukrainian has the opportunity to submit an application for compensation through the mobile app 'Diia'. It includes nine categories of losses, covering both material and non-material damages.
Representatives of the European Commission have already arrived in Kyiv to provide consultations to the affected. Maria Mezenzeva-Fedorenko also noted that applications can be submitted to the Loss Register even in those cases where compensation has already been received from the Ukrainian state.
Currently, Ukrainians have already submitted over 20,000 applications to the Loss Register, but these figures are not final. According to experts from the Council of Europe, the total number of applications may reach 6 million.
Maria Mezenzeva-Fedorenko emphasized the importance of funding this process to avoid disappointment among citizens.
