A teenager was electrocuted on the roof of a freight car in Khmelnytskyi
A boy born in 2010 was on the roof of a freight car. Rescuers used a ladder to climb onto the car and brought him down. DSNS workers handed over the injured boy to medics for emergency care. Law enforcement is currently investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.
Rescuers emphasize that the contact network is under voltage and can cause electric shock even without direct contact. By the way,
on March 13 at the 'Kyiv-Volynskyi' station, a 12-year-old boy climbed onto a train car and was electrocuted on the roof, his body was engulfed in flames. According to eyewitnesses, men tried to save the teenager by spraying him with a fire extinguisher until rescuers arrived. The boy was hospitalized with severe burns. It later became known that the 12-year-old teenager died in the hospital. According to Kyiv police spokeswoman Anna Strashok, the hospital confirmed that the boy died from his injuries.
It was previously reported that in Odesa a teenager was fatally electrocuted on the roof of an electric train.
On March 9, in the evening near the railway station on Balska Road, two boys climbed onto a stationary train, where they were electrocuted. One of them died, the other is receiving assistance. A passerby reported the incident to law enforcement.
Analysis:
Since the silence on such cases to the general public, there has been an increase in incidents of injuries among teenagers on transport contact networks. This indicates the need to strengthen informational work regarding the dangers of not adhering to safety rules in transport.
