Turkish Onur Group invests $450 million in the construction of energy facilities in Ukraine.


Onur Group's plans for investment in Ukraine's energy sector
"We plan to invest $450 million in Ukraine's energy sector by 2030. Currently, we already have 150 MW of solar power plants operating under a green tariff. Over the next ten years, we plan to add another 690 MW," said Emre Karaahmetoglu, General Manager of Onur Group in Ukraine.
Currently, the construction of solar power plants and storage facilities worth over $60 million is underway in the Vinnytsia region. The project is expected to be completed by the end of this year, which will increase the total solar power capacity by 200 MW and storage facilities by 164 MW.
Development of wind energy in Ukraine
In addition, Onur Group intends to develop wind energy in Ukraine by constructing 120 MW of wind power plants in the Zakarpattia region, as well as planned projects in Lviv and Volyn regions.
Onur Group has ambitious plans for development in Ukraine, investing significant funds in solar and wind energy. This will not only increase the production of green energy in the country but also contribute to the overall development of the sector and create new jobs.
