The senior NATO representative in Ukraine, Patrick Turner, stated that NATO partners can learn many lessons from the war in Ukraine, especially in the area of technology.
Turner recalled the opening of the joint Ukraine-NATO center in Poland earlier this week, which aims to gather both military and non-military experiences.
One can learn a variety of lessons from this incredible country. Some of them are lessons that have been learned very hard over three years of war. But there are also lessons that come from Ukraine's innovative creativity.», he noted.
According to him, the Alliance can learn lessons in the development and use of drones as well as electronic warfare.
Turner emphasized that the speed of innovation today presents a great challenge.
We do not intend to give up on powerful platforms, the development and production of which takes many years. But obviously, the future will demand changes. The gap between what has been done and learned here and where we stand now is significant. Therefore, we need to close this gap. We are very grateful to our Ukrainian colleagues for what we learn from them, and we still have much to learn,» emphasized the senior NATO representative.
The head of the Kyiv Security Forum, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, stated that the Verkhovna Rada must adopt a resolution on elections six months after a comprehensive peace agreement.
