Shmyhal Unveils Ambitious Plans for Drone Production and UAV Operator Training.

The Ukrainian government has launched an experimental project for the certification of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator schools. This will help establish clear requirements and standardize the training process for drone operators.
This was reported by "Khvilya" with reference to a statement by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Certification of schools will not only improve the quality of specialist training but also simplify the process of obtaining specialization for qualified operators. This is especially important given Ukraine's plans to produce 1.5 million drones by 2024.
At the same Time, Ukraine continues to ramp up the production of artillery systems and armored vehicles. An important aspect is cooperation with international partners and attracting foreign investments in the procurement of Ukrainian weapons.
The Prime Minister noted that already every second munition in the combat zone is produced in Ukraine, which indicates significant achievements in the development of the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex.
All these measures are supported by significant funding: next year, 2.2 trillion hryvnias are allocated for the security and defense sector. This amounts to 26% of the country's GDP.
