Syrskyi ordered each brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to create a recruitment unit.

A New Statutory Recruitment Unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Has Been Established
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, issued an order stating that each brigade commander must establish a statutory recruitment unit, reports the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This decision will improve the management and support of the recruitment process. From October 2024, brigade commanders will be allowed to recruit volunteers directly into military units, bypassing the territorial centers for recruitment and social support.
It is noted that starting from October 1 of this year, the government made changes to Resolution No. 560, allowing commanders to directly call volunteers into military units.
Recruitment centers have already been functioning in various branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, such as land forces, naval forces, airborne forces, as well as special operations forces and territorial defense, and continue to actively develop their capabilities.
President Zelensky decided to send generals into the trenches.
