Russians have used all pre-war stocks of T-90 tanks and most T-80 tanks.

Russian troops have suffered losses in heavy equipment
Western analysts report that more than half of the stocks of Russian heavy military equipment have been lost. This concerns all stocks of T-90 tanks and a significant portion of T-80 tanks. This was reported by Voice of America.
According to the publication, by December 22, Russian forces retained only 47% of pre-war tanks, 52% of pre-war BMPs, and 45% of pre-war armored personnel carriers.
It is also worth noting that all pre-war T-90 tanks and most T-80 tanks have already been used by Russian forces, but they still have the majority of outdated models, such as T-72, T-64/62, and T-54/55. This is confirmed by ISW.
Despite this, Russian troops continue their offensive in Donetsk using drones. They have already approached the administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk region at a distance of 10 kilometers.
It should be reminded that The Washington Post previously reported that in 2025, Russia will face a shortage of tanks and problems in their production due to losses at the front and sanctions that have caused a shortage of components for new equipment.
