Russians Advanced in the Toretsk Direction: ISW Analysis.


Ukrainian forces encountered Russian troops in the Toretsk direction, where the enemy continued to attack at high speed. There were also reports of the capture of the Vovchansk Aggregate Plant by Russian troops. Ukrainian forces, in turn, conducted counterattacks near Starytsia.
On the Kupyansk-Svatove-Kreminna line, battles continued, but no changes in the front line were recorded. A Russian blogger claims that the situation in this direction has become stable positional battles since the start of the Russian forces' offensive before July.
Russian troops continued limited offensive operations in the Siversk direction, but no advances were confirmed. In particular, their attacks to the east of Siversk near Verkhnokamianske were repelled by Ukrainian forces.
Russian troops attacked positions in the east of Chasiv Yar, particularly near Vasukivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, and Dubovo-Vasylivka to the northeast, near Ivanivske to the east, and near Klishchiivka to the southeast. However, the Ukrainian General Staff reported that there were no Russian advances.
In the Toretsk direction, Russian troops continued rapid attacks and advances within the southwestern New York, to the southwest of Yurivka, as well as in Zalizne and Pivnichne. However, these reports have no confirmation.
Russian troops achieved significant advances to the northwest of Avdiivka, capturing the village of Novoselivka Persha and forcing Ukrainian forces to retreat. Also to the southwest of Donetsk, the enemy continued to attack the field south of Kostyantynivka. But no confirmed advances were made.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, there were positional battles, but no changes in the front line were recorded. Positional battles also continued on the eastern bank of Kherson region and the islands of the Dnipro delta.
