Russia has involved dozens of children from occupied Berdyansk in the 'Youth Army'.

According to the report from the Ukrainian Parliament's Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, Russia is violating the rights of children in temporarily occupied territories.
Occupiers have involved another 40 Ukrainian children from Berdyansk, Zaporizhzhia region, in the 'Youth Army' organization, which promotes Russian aggression and prepares future soldiers for the occupation regime.
According to Lubinets, children are forced to take an oath of allegiance to Russia, and are trained in firearms and tactical training, as well as drone management.
The commissioner emphasized that such youth movements are used by Russia for re-education of Ukrainian children, depriving them of their national identity and preparing them to participate in the war against their own country.
He called on the international community to take decisive measures, including strengthening sanctions, diplomatic pressure, and paying attention to Russia's crimes.
Militarization of Children in Occupied Territories
A 'Youth Army' is being organized for teenagers in the temporarily occupied territories, which resembles a Nazi movement. The Russian system of destroying the identity of Ukrainian youth in occupied territories involves both formal and informal education that promotes militarization even for preschool children.
Moreover, in the occupied territories of the Kherson region, occupiers are engaged in the militarization of Ukrainian youth with the aim of raising soldiers for the war against Ukraine. In Mariupol, illegal occupiers have created the organization 'Young Guard - Youth Army' of the 'DPR'.
