The European Union stated that the results of the US presidential election will not affect its support for Ukraine. This was reported by the spokesperson for the EU's diplomatic service, Peter Stano. According to him, the EU's position on supporting Ukraine is documented. He noted that the European Union and its member states remain committed to supporting Ukraine and backing its efforts to restore sovereignty and territorial integrity. European Commission spokesperson Eric Mamer emphasized that the EU's stance on achieving peace also remains unchanged. He stressed that the European Union and the United States have an interest in a strong and sovereign Ukraine. He is confident that relations between the EU and the US, including support for Ukraine, do not depend on individual elections. Mamer also noted that the European Union has its own strong political goals and tools, as it is an alliance of 450 million citizens with one of the strongest economies in the world.
