Held for four days: Israel announces the elimination of Iran's new Chief of Staff.


A Ukrainian journalist reported that the IDF eliminated Iran's new Chief of Staff, Major General Ali Shadmani. The Israeli Defense Forces announced this information, noting that this military leader held the position for only four days after his appointment.
According to the Times of Israel, Shadmani became the Chief of Staff of Iran after the death of his predecessor, General Gholam Ali Rashid. The new commander headed the Central Command of Khatam al-Anbiya, which is known as the command for emergency situations in Iran.
The IDF claims that Shadmani was one of the highest military commanders in Iran and took on the role of 'Chief of the Military Staff.' According to Israeli military sources, Shadmani was the closest military leader to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. 'He was responsible for both army coordination and for all of Iran's armed forces,' IDF representatives stated.

According to the IDF, Shadmani led the central command of Khatam al-Anbiya, which was responsible for planning combat operations and Iran's plans regarding Israel.
Before this appointment, Shadmani had already held significant positions in the Iranian military, such as deputy to the Khatam al-Anbiya staff and chief of operational management of the armed forces.
