They sell in all supermarkets: which fish should categorically not be eaten.

Ukrainians have been urged to realize that pangasius fish should categorically not be eaten, even though it is sold in all stores. This was reported by TSN.
Food safety experts particularly warn about the dangers of pangasius - a fish that grows in the polluted Mekong River in Vietnam. This river is contaminated with industrial waste, sewage, and remnants of chemical fertilizers from fields. Therefore, fish raised in such conditions are potentially dangerous for consumption.
The production process of pangasius is also not very environmentally friendly. The fish is frozen in water from the Mekong River, which worsens the situation. Hormonal drugs for rapid fish growth, imported from China, are also used.
Ukrainians enjoy pangasius for its low cost and taste. However, this fish has a high content of omega-6 fatty acids, which can cause inflammatory processes in the body. Additionally, the fish's flesh may contain residues of antibiotics and pesticides used to clean contaminated water.
Nile perch is also a dangerous fish, as it lives in waters with high levels of heavy metals, including lead, which is harmful to human health.
Therefore, when choosing fish, it is very important to pay attention to the conditions of its cultivation and origin.
We remind you that supermarkets have updated the prices for eggs.
