Border guards discovered a drowned man in the Tisza.


The border guards of the Mukachevo detachment discovered the body of a person in the Tisza River during border monitoring. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and the information was confirmed by Glavkom.
The body was found 30 meters away from the Ukrainian shore. Currently, rescuers from the State Emergency Service and police are examining the circumstances of the incident and trying to identify the deceased.
According to preliminary data, this could be a person who attempted to illegally cross the border via the river.
We remind that border guards have strengthened the most vulnerable sections of the border with Romania and Hungary.
The State Border Guard Service reported that they are currently using modern automotive and special equipment, both unmanned and manned aviation, as well as other special means during border patrols, which helps to combat violations of law and order and respond promptly to threats.
