The Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the completion of the construction of an electronic barrier at the border with Belarus. On the southern border, a barrier stretching 206 kilometers has already been equipped with additional monitoring cameras and LED lights for road illumination. New video surveillance points have also been created to protect the facilities. Artificial intelligence was used during construction to classify alarm signals from detection cables. The total cost of the work amounted to over 125 million zlotys, approximately equal to 32.5 million dollars.
