Poland will change employment rules for Ukrainians: how refugees can now find a job.


New employment rules for Ukrainians have been approved in Poland. Now, foreign workers are required to arrange only employment contracts for work in the country, while civil law contracts, including service contracts, are no longer permitted for foreigners. These changes have been made to ensure better protection and stability for working individuals.
According to the new rules, foreign workers can be employed through a standard employment contract, official appointment, election results, or cooperative agreement. However, some specialists, such as athletes, coaches, and artists, may be granted special conditions that take their activities into account. To facilitate the adaptation of employers to new requirements, a transition period is established.
These changes concern Ukrainian citizens seeking work abroad, particularly in Poland, which is one of the most popular countries for Ukrainian workers. Recently, the Polish labor market has attracted an increasing number of Ukrainians seeking better opportunities and more favorable wages.
