Polystyrene, Plywood, and Polyethylene: Russian Drone "Herbera" Shown Online.

Photos of the Russian drone "Herbera," made of polystyrene and plywood, which crashed due to a fuel shortage, have appeared online.
This drone was used by the occupiers during a raid on Ukraine on July 31.
It is noted that the main purpose of these UAVs is to overload air defense systems.

Recall that earlier a video was shown of a Russian drone with a polystyrene fuselage, which was also made with low quality.
The "Herbera" drone can be used in three variants: as a drone for electronic intelligence, as a kamikaze, or as a decoy target.
It remains unclear at present what distance this drone can fly. However, it is highly likely that it can reach up to 300 km without the combat part. This UAV can perform reconnaissance missions, including recording the operation of radar systems and transmitting information online via the Ukrainian mobile network. It can also be used as a low-cost decoy target.
Recall that during the latest attacks, Russia used drones made of plywood and polystyrene as stands to determine the location of Ukrainian air defense.
Ukrainian radio technology expert Sergey Flesh Beskrestnov reported that the new Russian drone, which recently landed in Kyiv, is called "Herbera".
It is worth noting that the Russian company "Signal Plant" has patented a drone that resembles the Iranian kamikaze drone Qasef.
