Pensioners can increase payments and pass on insurance to relatives: how to do it.

In Ukraine, pensioners have the opportunity to increase their payments and pass on unpaid insurance funds to their heirs. Legislation and the Pension Fund of Ukraine provide for this.
Inheritance includes the rights and obligations of the deceased, except for those concerning the individual. Heirs can only receive those insurance payments that were designated for the deceased but were not paid out.
This money is passed on to members of the deceased's family. If there are no family members, the amount of unpaid pension is included in the inheritance. Insurance payments that were not transferred due to the fault of the authorities may also belong to the inheritance.
To receive the payment, family members must contact the Pension Fund authorities within six months from the date of the pensioner's death and provide the necessary documents.
The unpaid pension is paid until the month of death. In case several individuals apply, the amount is divided equally. The amount of unpaid pension is paid until the month of the pensioner's death to family members who lived with him.
If family members do not apply for payment within six months or if there are none, the unpaid pension is included in the total inheritance. In the case of payments for minors or incapacitated persons, it is necessary to contact their legal representatives.
