Norway to Allocate Funds for F-16 for Ukraine.

Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Arild Gram during his visit to Odesa announced additional military support for Ukraine using F-16 fighters.
According to the Norwegian government, the new aid for Ukraine totaling up to 1.3 billion Norwegian kroner will be allocated as a grant through the American JUMPSTART mechanism. These funds will be directed toward purchasing weapons and spare parts for the F-16.
"With this grant, Norway contributes to improving Ukraine's air defense in cooperation with other members of the Coalition to strengthen the Air Force's capabilities," representatives of the Norwegian government stated.
Official expenses will be presented to the Norwegian parliament by the end of autumn. At the same Time, the defense ministers of Norway and Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding regarding material cooperation. This will help find alternative solutions to support Ukraine with weapons.
Additionally, the parties agreed to assist in improving the Ukrainian medical service and rehabilitation centers for Ukrainian soldiers. The first stage involves consulting, training, and mentoring in treatment and rehabilitation, according to the Norwegian government.
