The Ministry of Health emphasizes that despite the war, the state's priority remains to ensure Ukrainians have access to quality and affordable medical services. Together with partners, the Ministry continues to work on restoring the medical infrastructure. Thanks to the reconstruction of institutions, doctors can continue to provide medical help, and patients have unrestricted access to necessary care.
It has been possible to fully restore 532 medical institutions, and another 356 – partially. Most of the medical institutions have been restored in Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions. This concerns medical institutions on liberated territories and those that have sustained minor damages such as broken windows, damaged roofs, or facades. Restoration work on medical facilities will continue further.
