Peace Negotiations. American General Ben Hodges Addressed Europe Sharply.

US General: Europe Is Not Ensuring Collective Security
US General Ben Hodges stated that Europe, particularly Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Canada, is not ensuring collective security. This has led to the US becoming the main partner of Russia. He made this statement in an interview with the Lithuanian TV channel Delfi.
Although Lithuania, Finland, Estonia, and Latvia are resolute, Europe is still not united, he said.
The general noted that Russia does not wish for a peace agreement with Ukraine and will not agree for Ukraine to participate in peace negotiations with Trump, Zelensky, and Putin as an equal leader. Russia intends to avoid granting legitimacy to Ukraine as a state. He also emphasized that Russia is always trying to destroy Ukraine as a state.
The general warned that after negotiations or agreements, Europe should prepare for the consequences of the war, which may be very serious. In particular, this could lead to millions of Ukrainian refugees, food and energy supply issues, as well as the destruction of European infrastructure.
The general emphasized that Europe has allowed itself to become a junior partner, and thus the US should lead the negotiations. He also called on Europe and Ukraine to ensure compensation for damages and the return of illegally deported children from the Russian Federation.
At the same Time, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy announced a new package of sanctions against Russia, which will be the largest since the beginning of the war. These restrictions are aimed at weakening the Russian armed forces and reducing the income of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, 'Voice of America' proposed four scenarios for ensuring peace in Ukraine.
