The meat falls apart in hands. Soldiers near Pokrovsk complain about spoiled food.

On the front line, Ukrainian soldiers are complaining about poor food, particularly spoiled meat. This was reported by journalist and member of the Public Anti-Corruption Council, Tetiana Nikolaenko.
According to her, one of the reasons for the deterioration in food quality is the Ministry of Defense's catalog supply system. This catalog contains items that are not ordered, but they help to reduce the price. For example, meat is inflated with water and medications. This scheme is quite widespread. The journalist published photos and videos of the spoiled meat that the soldiers are holding near Pokrovsk.
Recall that in March, the State Rear Operator signed contracts with suppliers to provide food for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The prices per kit were 111.49 UAH. Later, the Ministry of Defense changed the rules for feeding the military, removing some products and adding to the menu.
The Ministry of Defense also announced a change in the approach to forming dry rations for service members.
