Almost twice cheaper: who will be able to pay for electricity at a reduced rate from March 1.

From March 1, Ukrainian households with electric heating will be able to receive electricity at a preferential rate of 2.64 UAH/kWh for the first 2000 kWh per month.
The government has approved new tariffs for households with electric heating. According to Novyny.LIVE, if consumption exceeds 2000 kWh, the rate will be 4.32 UAH/kWh.
The preferential period will be in effect during the heating season - from October 1 to April 30.
Users of two-zone meters can save additional costs. At night (from 23:00 to 07:00) the rate is 2.16 UAH/kWh, while the daytime rate is 4.32 UAH/kWh.
Electricity tariff for the population
From March 1, 2025, the electricity tariff for the population will be 4.32 UAH per kilowatt-hour and will be valid until the end of the heating season - April 30.
New prices for business and industry
Starting November 1, 2024, new maximum prices for businesses and industry will be set: during the night period (00:00-07:00) - 5600 UAH/MWh, during the daytime (07:00-17:00) and late evening (23:00-24:00) - 6900 UAH/MWh, and during the evening peak (17:00-23:00) - 9000 UAH/MWh.
Increase in electricity tariffs for the population
There is a possibility of an increase in electricity tariffs for the population from June 1, 2025, but this scenario is considered unlikely due to the sufficiency of financial resources from 'Energoatom'. However, the new price may be 6 UAH 64 kopecks.
Electrical supply restrictions
As a result of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, temporary restrictions on electricity supply are being imposed for industrial enterprises and businesses during morning (6:00-9:00) and evening (16:00-19:00) hours.
