China supplies special chemicals and equipment to Russia for war: what Ukrainian intelligence has learned.

China supplies military equipment to Russia
The head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service, Olegh Ivashchenko, reported on China's supply of special chemicals, gunpowder, and machines to Russian military factories. According to the information provided by Ivashchenko in an interview with Ukrinform, there is confirmed data regarding 20 Russian enterprises.
'China supplies machines, special chemicals, gunpowder, and components specifically to military enterprises. We have confirmed data on 20 Russian factories', - said the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
There have also been recorded at least five instances of aviation cooperation between Russia and China from 2024 to 2025. This includes the supply of equipment, spare parts, and documentation, as well as large batches of special chemicals. According to Ivashchenko, by early 2025, 80% of critical electronics for Russian drones will have Chinese origins, carried out through various loopholes and front companies.
Recently, Dmytro Mertz appealed to China's leadership with a request to support peaceful initiatives regarding Ukraine, but the response has not been coordinated or substantial yet.
Analyzing this information, it can be said that the interaction between China and Russia in the military sector is becoming increasingly close, which may affect the geopolitical situation in the world. Moreover, such supplies of military equipment from China to Russia could pose a threat to security and stability in the region, particularly in Ukraine.
