Irina Bilyk revealed which act at 16 changed her life.


People's artist of Ukraine Irina Bilyk shared her experience of sending her songs to the radio when she was 16 years old. She published her story on Facebook.
At 16, Irina Bilyk wrote several songs that her friends liked, but she was upset thinking that no one would hear them.
Once, the host of the radio program 'Young Guard' expressed his misfortune that there were too few Ukrainian songs and performers on the radio, saying that everything that exists is outdated. At that moment, I just wanted to scream: 'I have beautiful Ukrainian songs that people love!' - the artist said.
Irina Bilyk sent a letter with her songs, which led to interesting events in her life.
Also, 30 years ago, in the section 'How Stars Are Made', I was asked what is most important to me in creativity, and I answered: 'The most important thing is individuality. As in life, so on stage,' the singer emphasized. She added that the main thing is 'to keep your style, even if trying something new.'
Currently, Irina Bilyk has performed in Tokyo, Japan, where she held a charity concert. She posted a video on her Instagram page showing how warmly she was welcomed in the land of the rising sun. She performed her hits and Ukrainian folk songs.
People's artist Irina Bilyk also held a concert in Kyiv, despite the Atlas United festival happening at the same Time.
Recently, Irina Bilyk also shared photos of her eight-year-old son to show how he has grown.
She also announced her intention to reissue her iconic albums.
