The British Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated that Vladimir Putin is a 'KGB agent acting by deception'. According to Lammy, Putin continues the imperial tradition and is based on the authoritarianism of Peter the Great and Nicholas I, as well as the Soviet Union.
The minister noted that his words regarding the Russian invasion were sharp, but less so than those expressed by US President Donald Trump when he stated that Ukraine started the war. He reminded that Putin had a spy past in Dresden, East Germany, before entering politics.
These words were published in The Guardian, which recalls Putin's spy past during the Cold War.
