Eurovision: Ukrainian jury member awarded second place to pro-Russian participant.

Excerpt from the world of music
One of the members of the Ukrainian jury for Eurovision-2025, Melovin, shared his impressions of the performances of the participants in the Grand Final. It should be noted that the singer's choice became a subject of discussion among viewers and provoked a wave of negative comments on social media, reports 'Glavkom'.
First place was awarded to Germany, second to the participant from Estonia, Tommy Cash, and third to Luxembourg.
The choice of the Ukrainian singer as the best representative of the competition from Estonia caused outrage among Internet users. Tommy Cash performed in temporarily occupied Crimea in 2021 and feels nostalgia for the former USSR. This led to calls for Melovin's opinion to be disregarded in future competitions, and he was even referred to as a 'clown'.
The participants of the international competition were judged by the founder of the Pianoбой project, Dmytro Shurov, singer Melovin, choreographer-director Olena Shoptenko, singer Tayanna, and general producer of music channels M1 and M2 Natela Chkhartishvili-Zatsarynnaya.
Austrian singer JJ with the song 'Wasted Love' became the winner of the Grand Final of Eurovision-2025, which took place on May 17 in Basel. Ukraine took ninth place, scoring a total of 218 points (60 from the jury and 158 from the audience voting).
26 countries participated in the grand final, including Norway, Luxembourg, Estonia, Israel, Lithuania, Spain, and others.
