Euro has jumped to a new high: overview of the rates of leading banks in Ukraine.


As of April 21, 2025, the currency market in Ukraine shows varied dynamics. According to exchange data, commercial banks offer the US dollar rate in the range of 46.25 to 47.30 hryvnias for buying and 47.40 to 48.20 hryvnias for selling in cash transactions.
Among the main participants in the currency market, the highest buying rate for the dollar is at Tascombank - 47.30 hryvnias, while the lowest is at Universal Bank - 46.25 hryvnias. UkrSibbank has the highest selling rate - 48.20 hryvnias, while PUMB offers the most accessible conditions - 47.40 hryvnias.
The cashless segment of the market offers different rates. PrivatBank offers a rate of 47.02/48.31 hryvnias, Raiffeisen Bank - 46.63/48.58 hryvnias, while the most favorable conditions for cashless purchases are at UkrSibbank - 45.72 hryvnias per dollar.
The interbank market is marked by more stable rates. The average dollar rate is 41.00 hryvnias for buying and 41.60 hryvnias for selling. The official rate of the National Bank of Ukraine is 41.3955 hryvnias.
The euro rate is strengthening and stands at 46.90 hryvnias for buying and 47.90 hryvnias for selling. The official euro rate of the NBU is 47.0253 hryvnias.
It is also worth noting that other world currencies are showing varied dynamics. The Polish zloty has risen to 10.50 hryvnias for buying, the British pound has strengthened to 54.30 hryvnias, while the Swiss franc remains at 50.00 hryvnias for buying, and its selling rate has increased to 51.40 hryvnias.
Overall, at the moment, the currency market in Ukraine is unpredictable and shows varied dynamics of different currency rates.
