EU to end 'trade visa-free' with Ukraine and revert to pre-war conditions: media reports on timelines.

The European Union does not plan to establish new trade preferences for Ukraine after 2025. Trade conditions will revert to what they were before the conflict began, but they may be reviewed in the future.
'Starting from June 6, autonomous trade measures – trade preferences for Ukraine, introduced by the EU after the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression, will end. Conditions will revert to pre-war ones. Both trade preferences and restrictive measures currently imposed on several goods like chicken meat, eggs, honey, and so on will end.'
This was stated by a European Union official.
Currently, the possibility of maintaining trade preferences for certain categories of Ukrainian exports, particularly steel, is being considered.
'Furthermore, the European Union will continue discussions on amending Article 29 of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU to develop the most beneficial trade conditions for both parties and to support Ukraine's economy, which suffers due to the war.'
Previously, the European Commission had not yet submitted the proposal for a 'trade visa-free' regime with Ukraine to the EU Council for consideration, said the Polish Minister of Agriculture.
It should be noted that the EU Council approved the extension of preferential trade with Ukraine until June 5, 2025. The conditions for duty-free trade will be integrated into the Association Agreement with the EU.
Ukraine intends to complete consultations on trade liberalization with the EU according to Article 29 of the Association Agreement.
EU Ministers of Agriculture have called for quotas on agro-imports from Ukraine.
