The SBI conducts searches in ex-minister Kubrakov — what happened.


The State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches on July 11 at the former Minister for Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, Oleksandr Kubrakov. These actions are part of the investigation into the possible fraud of People's Deputy Yevhen Shevchenko.
This information was disseminated by the publication 'Ukrainian Truth', citing sources.

According to anonymous sources, the searches at Kubrakov are being conducted in relation to the case regarding possible fraudulent actions of People's Deputy Yevhen Shevchenko, who has previously faced two charges of state treason.
It should be noted that Shevchenko is also suspected of defrauding entrepreneurs of 14.5 million hryvnias under the pretext of purchasing fertilizers in Belarus. The former Minister of Infrastructure may have assisted him in this.
Details of this case remain unknown.
Earlier, on July 9, the SBU and the OGP conducted searches at customs in three regions to prevent attempts to undermine national security.
Also, on July 4, the NABU conducted searches at former Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, which are likely related to the investigation of food purchases for the army at inflated prices.
