Is there a threat of an occupier breakthrough near Kherson? Southern Defense Forces spokesman responded.

According to the spokesman of the Southern Defense Forces, Vladislav Voloshin, there is currently no threat of an occupier breakthrough near Kherson from the islands at the mouth of the Dnipro. He noted that the island part of the battlefront, located opposite Kherson, is under the fire control of Ukrainian forces. Therefore, there is no danger of a breakthrough or crossing of the Dnipro near Kherson itself. However, the spokesman did not rule out the possibility of the Russian army crossing straits and capturing the Dnipro islands. The occupiers are actively conducting reconnaissance operations and attempting to detect Ukrainian fire means in this direction.
In the coastal zone of Kherson and on the roads between settlements, several instances of remote mining by Russian forces have been recorded. Therefore, the curfew in the Kherson region has been extended from October 15, now lasting from 20:00 to 06:00.
