Drones attacked the 'Druzhba' oil pumping station in Russia
On the night of January 30 to Thursday, drone attacks occurred in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. According to Russian media, the target of the attack was the 'Druzhba' oil pumping station located near the city of Novozibkov.
According to media reports, powerful explosions were heard over the city on the night of Thursday, after which a fire broke out in one of the areas. Lands near the villages of Mamai and Zamishye were affected.
The 'Novozibkov' station is part of the main 'Druzhba' oil pipeline, which transports oil from Russia to European countries. This pipeline is of great importance for supplying oil to Belarusian refineries and transit to Europe. Over 33 million tons of oil are pumped through this station every year.
Also, explosions occurred in the city of Kstovo in the Nizhny Novgorod region of Russia due to a drone attack. The oil refinery was damaged and caught fire. The Smolensk nuclear power plant was also attacked.
It should be noted that on January 25, 2025, unknown individuals carried out a nighttime attack on the Ryazan region, specifically on the Ryazan oil refinery - one of the largest oil refineries in the Russian Federation. The capacity of this plant is 17 million tons of oil per year.
