Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the agreement with the USA regarding rare earth minerals must include clear security guarantees for Ukraine.
'Any agreement on Ukrainian minerals must be accompanied by security guarantees from the USA. Help us defend this, and we will earn together', Zelensky emphasized in an interview with NBC News.
According to him, if Ukraine does not receive security guarantees, economic cooperation will not work. 'Everything has to be fair', the president added.
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine analyzed the USA's needs for rare earth elements. He gave the example of titanium, stressing that Ukrainian reserves of this metal would be sufficient for the industry for 40 years.
Earlier, Yermak revealed details of the negotiations in Munich about security guarantees for Ukraine.
