What will the first month of 2025 be like: meteorological forecast.


The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reports that in January 2025, warmer weather than usual is expected. The average monthly temperature will be above normal.
The forecast indicates that the average monthly air temperature in January will fluctuate between 0-3°C. In some regions, specifically in Transcarpathia, Crimea, Odesa, and Kherson regions, temperatures of 0-2°C are expected, which is 1.5-2°C above the norm.
A normal amount of precipitation is expected, 32-79 mm.
On January 26, a slight rain and wet snow are expected in the southern part of the country, while the rest of the territory will not receive precipitation.
On the roads of the western regions, ice is possible, as well as fog at night and in the morning.
The wind will be predominantly northeast with a speed of 5-10 m/s, and occasionally in the southern regions, gusts may reach 15-20 m/s.
The temperature at night and during the day will fluctuate from -2°C to 3°C (in the western and northern regions at night 0-5°C of frost, and in Crimea during the day 1-6°C of warmth). In the Carpathians, at night, temperatures of -5 to -10°C are expected, and during the day -1 to -6°C of frost.
