Nuclear facilities in Russia were not affected during the strikes by Ukrainian drones: SBU avoided escalation

Ukrainian special services decided to conduct operation 'Web', where they planned to strike only at the infrastructure for conventional weapons, avoiding damage to nuclear facilities. This was stated by weapons expert Ivan Kyrychenko on Yuriy Romanenko's channel on Youtube.

'At all airfields of the Russian strategic aviation, so-called 'S' objects, separate storage facilities for nuclear weapons, warheads for air-launched missiles, are located at a very great distance from the takeoff airfields,' Kyrychenko explained. He added that nuclear storage facilities are 'almost a separate military object,' making accidental damage impossible during strikes on airbases.

The Ukrainian special services avoided hitting nuclear facilities during the planning of operation 'Web', focusing only on targeting conventional military objectives. This indicates a careful approach to planning and the strategy of actions of the Ukrainian military.
